for the best dissertation
In road construction in 2022
The aim of the competition is to present and promote the best doctoral theses in the fields of roads and technologies. The intention of the competition is to support young scientists and doctoral students with the possibility of presenting the results of their studies before the general professional public. The competition is organized by the Czech Road Society, z.s.
Condition of Competition Year 2022
It is possible to apply doctoral thesis in the field of road construction defended in the period 1.4.2021 - 31.3.2022.
The work (exclusively in electronic form) with a completed application form will be delivered to the organizer of the competition by 31.5.2022 to the address: Czech road company z.s., Novotného Lávka 5, 110 00 Prague 1 or electronically to the address:t.vacek@silnicnispolececnost.cz.

Evaluation - Prices - Presentation:
The applications will be evaluated by a jury composed of experts of the Czech road company and will propose the announcement of the best works with the order.
- The winner of the competition will be awarded at the road conference 2022 in Prague (4.10.2022), where he will present his doctoral thesis. The winners will be paid insert, stay and food throughout the conference program. At the same time, the college for which the work was processed will be awarded. The winner of the competition will be offered the possibility of presenting work in the form of a poster at the World Congress 2023 in Prague.
1st place will be awarded the amount of CZK 15,000 - 2nd place will be awarded the amount of CZK 10,000
- The 3rd place will be awarded CZK 5,000.
The jury can award fewer prices, or not to grant any price.
The award -winning authors will be offered the possibility of publishing their work in the road horizon.
