Prof. Špůrek Medal
Since 2006, the Czech Road Society has honored exceptional contributions to the road sector through the Prof. Špůrek Medal. This distinction commemorates the outstanding achievements of Prof. Ing. Dr. Josef Špůrek, DrSc. Annually, CSS presents these medals to individuals who have significantly advanced the field.
Best Dissertation Competition
Starting in 2018, the Czech Road Society initiated a competition to recognize the finest dissertations in road construction. The primary objective is to bolster emerging experts, young scientists, and doctoral candidates. This competition serves as a platform for students to showcase their top-tier doctoral theses in the areas of roads and technologies to the wider public.
