Od roku 2018 organizuje Česká silniční společnost soutěž o nejlepší disertační práci v oboru silničního stavitelství. Cílem soutěže je podpora nastupující generace odborníků, mladých vědců a studentů doktorského studia. Soutěž studentům umožňuje prezentovat a propagovat nejlepší doktorské práce z oborů silničních staveb a technologií před širokou odbornou veřejností. Oceněným autorům bude nabídnuta možnost publikování jejich práce v časopise Silniční obzor a získají finanční odměnu v částce 30 000 Kč, 20 000 Kč nebo 10 000 Kč.
Přihlášení do soutěže je zdarma. Disertační práce bude hodnotit porota složená z odborníků České silniční společnosti.
