Since 2018, the Czech Road Society has been organizing an annual competition for the best dissertation within the field of road construction. The primary objective of this competition is to nurture the emerging generation of experts, young scientists, and doctoral candidates. It provides a platform for students to showcase and promote their exceptional doctoral theses in the fields of roads and technology to a broader audience. Winning authors of the competition will have the opportunity to publish their work in the Road Horizon magazine and will also receive monetary recognition, with rewards of CZK 15,000, CZK 10,000, or CZK 5,000 available. The competition aligns with our commitment to fostering innovation and scholarly excellence in the field of road construction.
Participation and Evaluation - Entering the competition is free. A panel of experts from the Czech Road Society will assess the submitted dissertations.
