The article focuses on the currently widely discussed issue of demonstrating whether a certain asphalt mixture, where a suitable additive or a corresponding technological process was used, meets the prerequisites for its classification as a so -called low -temperature asphalt mixture. It is based on the laboratory procedure listed in the attachment and standards of ČSN 73 6120. However, in practice, however, it has been repeated for several years that the standard procedure has considerable restrictions and cannot sufficiently affect the effect of a number of additives or technological modifications, which are demonstrably used as low -temperature asphalt applications. at a lowered working temperature. The example of a laboratory assessment is demonstrated and overall reflection on how to proceed in the future. The need to solve the existing standard mismatch is obvious, as the possibility of a low -temperature asphalt mixture is to use them for the interest of public administrators and the contracting sphere.

However, in Practice, IT Has Repeatedly Been Shown for North Years that Standard Procedure Has Significant Limitations and Cannot Sufficiently Capture of Affect of ADDITIES or Technological Modifications that Low -Temperature Asphalt Applications - I.E. Including The Possibility of Majing Safely at Reduined Working Temperature in therms of Quality. This problem is demonstrated using Examples of Laboratory Assessment and a General Reflection is Made on How to Proced in the Future. The Need to Resolve the Standard Discrepance is Obiious, Since the Possibility of Using Low-Temperature Asphalt Mixtures is of Interest to Both Public Administrators and the Construction Sector.
