The aim of the Transport Telematics and City Engineering course is to expand the knowledge of the course participants in the areas of current trends in technologies and procedures in the field of transport-Telematic systems and urban engineering. The course is focused on the lifelong cycle of transport-Telematic systems, ie from their planning and design, through implementation and implementation, to operation and maintenance, including evaluation of the benefits of such systems. Emphasis is also placed on explaining the necessary links of transport telematics, urban engineering, and land -use planning (urbanism) to achieve positive effects and prerequisites for sustainable mobility.

The course is conceived as so -called upskilling. Thus, with the intention to deepen the competences of its participants in defined areas. Another definition for this complements the effort to balance differences in skills and knowledge caused, for example, by age, digitization or other form of development of technologies, processes or legislation.
