Description of the event
We invite you to a professional conference Land Communications 2026 on Thursday June 18, which is normally organized by the Department of Road Construction of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague in cooperation with the Czech Road Company and with the support of the Road Construction Association, with the subtitle:
At the jubilee 10th year of the conference, leading experts from the Czech Republic will present their contributions. As is clear from the subtitle of the conference, the professional focus of the speakers' contributions in this year's conference will primarily be focused on changes and innovations in important legal and technical regulations. Of course, this is not only about the evergreen "(New) Construction Act", but also information about uniform European rules for unifying end-of-waste criteria for mineral construction and demolition waste, or o important technical regulations, which include basic project standards and selected technical conditions, the quality and content of which are significantly reflected both in the project preparation and in the actual implementation of the roads.
The conference will also include the announcement of the best project documentation of SOŠ students with a focus on transport constructions of the Transport 2026 competition, organized by the Association for Road Construction.

As usual, they took over the patronage of the conference, and the conference was also held in person, or represented by the Minister of Transport Mr. Ivan Bednárik, Director General of the ŘSD Ing. Radek Mátl, director of SFDI Ing. Zbyněk Hořelica, 1st deputy mayor of the capital Prague for Transport Mgr. Ing. Jaromír Beránek and Central Bohemian Region councilor for road transport Ing. Josef Pátek, Ph.D. The patronage of the conference was also taken over by the rector of CTU in Prague, prof. Dr. Ing. Michal Pěchouček, MSc.
