for the best dissertation
In road construction in 2020
The aim of the competition is to present and promote the best doctoral theses in the fields of roads and technologies. The intention of the competition is to support young scientists and doctoral students with the possibility of presenting the results of their studies before the general professional public. The competition is organized by the Czech Road Society, z.s.
Conditions of competition year 2020:
It is possible to apply doctoral thesis in the field of road construction defended in the period 1 April 2019 - 31 March 2020.
Work (exclusively in electronic form) with filledapplicationwill be delivered to the organizer of the competition by 31 May 2020 to: Czech Road Company z.s., Novotného Lávka 5, 110 00 Prague 1 or electronically to:t.vacek@silnicnispolececnost.cz.

Login of student work is free.
Evaluation - Prices - Presentation:
The applications will be evaluated by a jury composed of experts of the Czech road company and will propose the announcement of the best works with the order.
- The winner of the competition will take over the price of CZK 15,000 at the 2020 road conference in Olomouc (October 21, 2020), where he will present his doctoral thesis. The winners will be paid insert, stay and food throughout the road conference program.
- 2nd place will be awarded the amount of CZK 10,000
- The 3rd place will be awarded CZK 5,000.
The organizer reserves the right to award fewer prices, or not to grant any price.
