Dear colleagues, dear colleagues, supporters and friends of the Czech road company,
For the second time, I would like to address you on behalf of the Bureau in this way. It's sad, but it's one of the few options that today's time offers us. At the beginning of the summer we threw ourselves into active work to organize an interesting and attractive road conference, which was to take place in the NH Collection Olomouc Congress with an accompanying exhibition at the Omega Center of Sport and Health. However, the situation has evolved into a form that you all perceive and which affects you and affects your lives, the work of iRodin.
I would like to thank all partners of the conference who supported us in a difficult time and promised partnership and cooperation for 2021, when the conference will take place in the same place on 8 and 9 September 2021. It is an earlier term compared to previous years, but we try even with this change to ensure that the conference will take place. I can not forget the service organizations that participated in the preparation of the conference and were very far away in their preparations, as generously accepted an agreement on the abolition of the road conference respectively. its organization in the same spaces in the following year.
We definitely did not put our hands in our lap. Everything moves us more and more to the virtual world. We are also aware of this, but we understand our professional meetings, as well as the possibility of passing the latest knowledge from the wide field of road construction, but also as a place of personal encounters, passionate debates and mutual dialogue. In the coming year, we will have a number of professional events, the list of which you can find on the website, but we also have to be prepared for the need to organize these events to a limited extent with the possibility of online broadcasting, using new and modern communication technologies.
This year, too, we announced a competition for the best dissertation in the field of road construction, which found its winner. We are very pleased and we are very pleased that the registered works have a high professional level and the winners can attract their presentation by a professional audience at a road conference. Despite unfavorable circumstances, we managed to organize III. The year of the Championship of the Czech Republic in Travel Rodeu, which is a competition in driving the skills of drivers of the spreading cars. This time, the great organizations of the Pilsen Region administration and maintenance were taken, when the nationwide competition took place at the maintenance center in Kralovice.
