The aim of the article is to present the issue of collection, distribution, processing and presentation of traffic data and information through transport information centers (DIC) operated by owners or road administrators. These are data and information related to the physical properties of the road network in the urban and extravilan with the state of these communications and their use in real time. The legal obligations to provide these data are not only related to the state and large cities, but of all, including small road owners at the level of municipalities. The article focuses on some parts of the new technical conditions TP 172 having a significant impact on DIC's design and operation. The aim is to briefly approach the important aspects that need to respect the traffic-infraction center (DIC) [1].
