Local BESIP strategies can be a modern method for a comprehensive and systematic solution to road safety in the city. The local strategy is recommended to be developed for a period corresponding to the period of validity of the national strategy. This is usually a longer program period, during which there may be a sudden change in the development of the accident rate, to which it is necessary to respond by adapting activities, or updating the action plan. The updating and clarification of BESIP activities is carried out through a separate concept, the so-called Performance Information, which follows on from the created strategic document and evaluates the fulfillment of the set goals and key indicators. The article deals with the process of creating this evaluation concept with an example of processing and subsequent use on the example of the city of Otrokovice.

Updating and specifying BESIP activities is carried out through a separate concept, the so-called Information on implementation, which follows on from the created strategic document and evaluates the fulfillment of the set goals and key indicators. The article deals with the process of creating this evaluation concept, giving an example of processing and subsequent use on the example of the city of Otrokovice.
