The article is a continuation of the previous article in Silniční obzor (2024, vol. 85, no. 12) "Long-term changes in the noise level of road surfaces", where the acoustic parameters of roadways, which are obtained as part of the TAČR research project No. CK04000058, were added. Partial long-term results and, above all, the analyzes and conclusions resulting from them, were used both at the international and national level as part of the development of the new technical regulation TP 270 "Measurement and evaluation of road surface noise". TP 270 is intended to update and generalize the acoustic evaluation procedures for all types of road wear layers and types of their surfaces, which are currently only determined for low-noise asphalt roads in the technical quality conditions of TKP 7.

Exploitation of the acoustic monitoring data of the road surfaces during preparation of the TP 270 directive
This contribution extends our earlier paper published in Silniční obzor (2024, vol. 85, no. 12) "Long-term changes in road surface noise" by adding further measured acoustic pavement variables obtained under the TAČR research project no. CK04000058. The interim long-term results—and especially the analyzes and conclusions derived from them—are already being applied internationally and nationally, for example in preparing the new guideline TP 270 "Measurement and Assessment of Road Surface Noise." TP 270 aims to update and generalize acoustic monitoring procedures, broadening their applicability from the low-noise asphalt wearing course mixes listed in TKP 7.
